Reinforced fin boxes are installed as standard in all of our boards. Unlike most manufacturers, however, we do not use hard foam inserts or additional carbon, but have developed our own technology to protect the fin boxes 100% against denting or breaking out.
Rocker – Get the most of your speed.
The "HALE-BOPP" model has a flat tail rocker and a medium-steep nose rocker. This means that a lot of speed is generated by the board alone, which allows you to surf river waves without a lot of "pumping". Now you can concentrate fully on your maneuvers!
Rails - Performance through versatility
The super sharp rails in the tail area give you the grip you need to get maximum spray out of your turns. With rounded and thin rails in the middle area we achieve a super predictable ride. This gives you the perfect balance between radical turns and the perfect flow.
The Story behind The HALE-BOPP
After our "SUPERNOVA" river surfboard for strong river waves, we now had to develop a board for the weaker rapids. As a Regensburg surfboard brand, we are naturally close to the Isar wave, for which this board is intended. Together with local Felix Hagenah, we adapted our bestseller "THE HEATER" to develop a perfect board for this special wave. This resulted in the finale "THE HALE-BOPP".
Custom Board
If you can't find what you're looking for in our standard sizes, you can of course order a custom board from us and have it shaped to your specifications. Other dimensions, a stronger rocker or a different tail shape are no problem for us. When it comes to design, anything is possible, from resin tints to unusual artwork. Just send us a message!
